With a local office in downtown Manchester, Consigli is the largest self-performing general contractor/construction manager in New England and is one of the major builders of K-12 school within the region. Over the past three decades, the 100% employee –owned company has built or renovated more than 70 schools covering every type of program area, from elementary and middle schools to both comprehensive and technical high schools. Nine of these projects have been in collaboration with SMMA.

More than 80% of Consigli’s work is in occupied buildings or environments and the vast majority of the company’s K-12 work has been executed in or adjacent to operational schools. Safety is always the top priority – for students, faculty, staff and visitors as well as for its construction personnel.

New Vista Design is a Boston-based consulting firm that works with schools, districts, charter management organizations, architectural firms, and foundations across the U.S. and abroad to facilitate the design of 21st century, inquiry-based, and technology-rich school programs and the facilities that house them. Founded in 2006 by licensed architect and experienced educator David Stephen, New Vista’s work straddles the worlds of education reform and architectural design. As an educator, David has over 30 years of experience partnering with innovative school networks that include High Tech High, Da Vinci Schools, and the Big Picture Company. As an architect, David as provided educational programming and planning services for over 100 K-12 school design projects, assisting his clients in crafting their clear and forward-thinking educational vision, and connecting that vision to best practices and possibilities in school facility design.
