To help develop a clear, cohesive, and compelling vision for the future of the Manchester School District, a series of interactive visioning workshops was organized with educators, students, Manchester residents, as well as community partners and leaders. These sessions provided every participant with a platform to voice their opinions and hopes for what they believe Manchester School District should aspire to become. In April of 2023, New Vista Design and SMMA engaged the community in the first round of three (3) interactive visioning sessions. A separate session, exclusively dedicated to Manchester School District high school students, was conducted virtually, with participants joining in from across all four high schools. Subsequent visioning workshops were held throughout June and July of 2023, where participants were able to delve deeper into discussions about what their visions of the district’s educational goals and school facilities should be.
